All of the basic color blocking is done and now its on to the details.  The plan is to have the next update be the completed painting…

I started a new painting a week or so ago and I finally got to getting some details into it.  It’s based off a series photos I shot at the Whoopee Bowl Antiques:

Interestingly, the white chicken is the exact same aluminum sculpture like the green one I found in Fabens.  I used the Fabens chicken in my “The Great Fabens Getaway” painting. These chickens apparently get around:

Starting something new. I’m moving back into a comfortable size after the series of small paintings I did.
